Position:                  Item Data Specialist

Reports To:             Consumer Experience & E-Commerce Manager

Job Summary:  The Item Data Specialist (IDS) is responsible for maintaining item details across all digital platforms; working closely with Product, Purchasing, Sales, and E-Commerce departments to ensure item details are up to date. The IDS is a critical role to ensure product launches and promotions are effectively activated. This role is responsible for ensuring the ERP system has correct pricing, item attributes, images, and item descriptions. Project management skills, bicycle knowledge or the aptitude to learn are essential for this position.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain and ensure accuracy of product item data, information, images, and pricing within ERP system

Collaborate with Product, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, E-Commerce, and Marketing teams to implement item set-up, updates and changes in ERP system and digital platforms

Create new part numbers across all platforms (ERP, B2C, and B2B). Organize and update full size print quality photos for catalog creation

Maintain historical information for various pricing programs

Run daily, weekly, and monthly reports to track digital catalog updates. Works closely with other key users in appropriate departments to ensure consistency across brands and synchronized updates to all systems

Disseminate new item information to the various internal departments and/or external vendors

Coordinate the ERP, B2C, and B2B item “release dates”

Assist with merchandizing B2C and B2B digital catalogs

Build and maintain strong cross functional relationships through timely communication and follow up

Develop strategies and initiatives to improve overall data quality, improve processing times and anticipate future needs

Job Qualifications:

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP (a plus)

Familiar with SQL Online analytical processing (a plus)

Comprehensive knowledge of bike components (a plus)

Experience with Adobe Photoshop and/ or Illustrator

HTML coding knowledge (a plus)

Proficiency with Microsoft Office with Intermediate to Advance level in Excel

An understanding of the fundamentals of inventory control, purchasing, and sales

Strong communication skills

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills

 Full time Non-exempt position based out of Newbury Park, CA
