Opportunity to join the accounting and administrative function at a fast growing, global business producing a collection of premium goggles, eyewear, helmets, gloves and sportswear that is designed specifically for today's demanding athlete in the Motocross, Mountain Biking, Road Cycling and more.

The position reports to the Controller and is a key member of the company’s accounting & finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for key contributions towards daily, weekly and monthly accounting cycle, financial reporting for internal and external readers as well as helping to support human resources, facilities and other back office functions as necessary.

The ideal candidate will be capable of successfully operating in a growing and evolving organization, handling multiple priorities and demonstrating creativity in development and management of procedures and processes.


 Support the accounting function for 100% Speedlab, international subsidiaries and several related entities, primarily in the areas of Accounts Payable and Inventory Management

 Complete balance sheet reconciliations, including creating and cataloging support and review schedules

 Manage Accounts Payable transaction processing in accordance with Company Policy, including weekly payment run preparation/review and, aging schedule review and support all aspects of vendor relationships

 Maintain and communicate a solid understanding of US GAAP, including willingness and aptitude to learn international jurisdictional regulations that affect the Company’s international business model

 Support the Company’s banking relationships including the preparation and delivery of monthly covenant and borrowing base reporting

 Support the Company’s risk management function including the administration of the company’s insurance portfolio

 Support the Company’s human resource function including the administration of payroll, employee benefits, T&E expense processing, new hire onboarding and employee training

 Assist with the calculation and filing of sales tax and the processing of contractor 1099 forms

 Assist in the development of cash flow forecasting tools and reporting capability for management

 Analyze and interpret data to recommend changes to improve efficiency, performance and proper internal controls

 Assist with special projects as required


 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

 Experience executing accounting function and developing new processes using cloud based ERP systems required; Oracle NetSuite experience highly desired

 CPA or CPA candidate a plus

 3-5 years of accounting experience; experience in business with international sourcing, manufacturing and distribution highly desired

 Effectively manage change within the organization resulting from changes in the business environment along and improvements to the business operating model

 Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of US GAAP and internal control best practices

 Tech-savvy with strong Excel and other Microsoft Office application skills, experience implementing cloud based tools for expenses, HR, etc.

 Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills
