Creative Copywriter – Aftermarket
Trek is seeking a creative copywriter with a deep technical knowledge of bike parts, gear, and culture to fill a key seat on the Brand Creative team.
In this role, you’ll own the messaging for non-proprietary and aftermarket products, taking launch projects along every step of the rugged trail from concept to delivery.
You’ll need to be comfortable leading discussions on creative and working collaboratively across departments, and you’ll need to have a finger on the pulse of the outdoor industry as well as a command of marketing tactics and brand voice.
You’ll also need to be versatile. In a single day, you might snap out a press release, a few brand emails, some retail assets and product copy, and a print ad for a global Bontrager product launch—all while conveying the “Ride bikes, have fun, feel good” spirit of the company.

Product copy (30%)
Write and edit product copy and features for Bontrager and non-proprietary vendors.
Aftermarket launches (40%)
Develop creative concepts for Bontrager product launches and write all corresponding deliverables, including editorial pages, brand emails, digital and print ads, video scripts, press releases, blog stories, and retail assets.
Aftermarket campaigns (20%)
Write web copy for global brand campaigns relating to aftermarket products, including SEO-driven landing pages and educational content.
Additional brand creative work (10%)
Collaborate with the Brand Creative team on a variety of other projects, including quarterly print catalogs and brand stories for The Trek Blog.
