HR Operations Representative-Anoka, MN
Vista Outdoor is seeking a HR Operations Representative to add to our team located in Anoka, MN. The position will be responsible for providing data entry support and answering Human Resources related calls and requests from Vista employees in a timely and accurate manner, as well as other projects as needed by the HR Operations team.
Responsibilities:
The HR Operations Representative will drive a consistent, streamlined employee experience by providing exceptional service through focusing on quality and continuous improvement in each of the responsibilities listed below.
Contact Center
Provides support as needed to answer phone calls and e-mails/tickets from employees, managers, leaders and HR staff regarding benefits, HR questions, payroll, on-boarding, performance management, reporting, etc.
Supports employees, managers and HR in entering and keeping HR systems data clean
Coaches end-users on use of online HR technology and self-service
Follows up with internal and external customers on requests that require research and ensures resolution/closure for each request
Follows established service standards on all inquiries/responsibilities to meet or exceed performance measurements
Data Maintenance/Systems
Maintains employees’ electronic records in line with company policies and government regulations
Supports redesign of employee-facing HR SharePoint site including content updates
Other duties as assigned
Onboarding/HR Administration
Facilitates HR system transactions including but not limited to benefits transactions, PTO payout calculations, and employee data changes
Provides pre-employment and on-boarding support from time of offer through first month of employment
Provides HR systems testing support
Conducts additional administrative duties, including completion of HR-related forms, garnishment uploads into ADP, and other miscellaneous projects
Education and Experience Requirements:
Prior experience with shared services and managing data to ensure clean data and ability to assess impacts of data changes on downstream transactions
Strong attention to detail
Strong customer service skills including manager and employee self-service enablement
Ability to follow up with customers and drive outstanding issues to resolution
Strong, proactive communication and problem-solving skills
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of tools including SharePoint
Workday and Kronos knowledge preferred, including previous data entry skills
General HR knowledge preferred (e.g. Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, 401(k), Talent Acquisition)
Team player with a positive attitude, but also able to manage multiple assignments and work independently within deadlines
Familiarity with HIPAA Privacy Rules
3-5 years of related experience preferred, or Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of experience
