As the Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will help to ensure an awesome onboarding experience for new hires and spread the word about job opportunities at Santa Cruz Bicycles. You will be a part of our growing HR team that goes above and beyond to support our staff and have a fun doing it! We are looking for someone who is not afraid to talk to multiple people daily to make sure we have the best person for the job and they get all the support they need.

This role is on site at our HQ in Santa Cruz, we would be open to a hybrid role of part remote, part on site.

Overall Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  1. Support new employees to ensure an optimal orientation experience including first day HR orientation
  2. Create and maintain digital personnel files and HRIS data for each employee, ensuring consistent document naming and regular auditing
  3. Assist new employees to complete all necessary documents via esign and HRIS software 
  4. Coordinate with all necessary departments including facilities and IT for new hire needs
  5. Maintain all federal and state mandates documents for new hires and track expirations
  6. Assist Talent Acquisition Recruiter and Talent Acquisition Manager with hiring fairs and local events for recruiting new talent
  7. Coordinate and perform reference checks and work with our vendor for background checks for new hires
  8. Assemble document folders and gifts for new hires and maintain a digital inventory for all necessary supplies 
  9. Maintain and update wage notice changes and offer letters for all promotions or changes
  10. Create social media updates for LinkedIn and Glassdoor highlighting employee events and hiring opportunities
  11. Assist Talent Acquisition Recruiter and Talent Acquisition Manager with sourcing talent using multiple avenues including LinkedIn Recruiter and job boards
  12. Assist Talent Acquisition Recruiter and Talent Acquisition Manager with scheduling in-person interviews and flight or hotel preparations if needed

Competencies and Requirements:

  1. 1+ years of experience in recruiting and sourcing talent
  2. Experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and ATS (Applicant Tracking System) software, Workday preferred
  3. Experience with administrative work and auditing or reconciling large sets of data
  4. Strong attention to detail 
  5. Positive attitude and a passion for creating a great experience for employees
  6. Strong work ethic and a knack for staying extremely organized
  7. Not afraid of talking to multiple people on the phone each day and taking detailed notes
  8. Knowledge of employment guidelines/practices and a good sense of judgment without bias
  9. 1+ years of experience in marketing or content production is preferred but not required
  10. Extremely strong communication and writing skills

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend and explain documents in English. Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, in English.
