What You Will Be Responsible For

Our Community and Social Content Manager will manage the company’s and its multiple brand voices along with images to provide exceptional brand and product awareness that will forge a strong community and customer bond. This role will work closely with many departments (both in North America and internationally), especially product development, sales, customer service, PR and brand marketing teams to develop strategies and tactics for engaging organic and paid marketing campaigns on numerous platforms like video, blogs, email, and social channels. This role requires a deep passion for cycling and a strong technical understanding of all types of bikes to communicate authentically and compassionately to experts and novices alike. Being a strong team player and a patient “people person” who is good at building lasting relationships and empathizing will help lead to success in this role.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and publishing full-funnel content on all media platforms
  • Collaborate with product development, customer service, and sales teams to fully understand product specifications and USPs, as well as the wants and needs of customers
  • Review and analyze social media, email, customer service and other marketing metrics to build and improve campaign and communication strategies
  • Craft responses to customers’ feedback and messages on various platforms
  • Build long-standing and sincere relationships with brand ambassadors and influencers in key disciplines and geographical regions
  • Collaborate with creative team and agency partners as they translate strategy into consumer-facing assets and communications
  • Become the go-to expert on all portfolio products, customers and consumers
  • Understand the customer and make their satisfaction a priority

What We're Looking For

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Communications, or Marketing or related field or equivalent years of experience
  • Minimum 3 years of bicycle brand or bicycle retailer and bicycle or CPG marketing or communications experience at a brand, creative agency, or consultancy managing social media and community campaigns at scale
  • Experience translating rich consumer insights into actionable and compelling marketing tactics
  • Familiarity with the latest trends in bicycling, especially mountain biking, gravel, and e-bikes
  • Project management skills to manage multiple high-profile and high-budget projects at once
  • Strong Adobe suite skills and expertise
  • Skills in photography and videography are a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment where the ability to influence and build relationships is critical
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skillsProactive and careful attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter that can effectively manage time with little supervision
  • Diligent, agile and flexible work ethic to accommodate rapidly changing news and PR cycles on an international scale
  • Strong team player with ability to build strong internal/external relationships
