Position:        Marketing Content Lead

Location:       Newbury Park, CA                

Reports To:   Marketing Manager

Job Summary: The Marketing Content Lead will work with the Marketing Manager to lead Giant Group USA’s marketing communication strategy for company-wide awareness, departmental calendaring, implementing of timelines and, ultimately, the execution of departmental projects/initiatives to meet or exceed objectives.

The Marketing Content Lead will execute all areas of production/execution across a wide variety of creative deliverables including but not limited to: Digital Assets, Advertising, Retail Support, Product Launch, and Promotions. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

DIGITAL

Identify and leverage website marketing, social media initiatives, video brand & product highlights, and future interactive web experiences and measurement of performance of all digital channels

Responsible for the day-to-day management of social/digital agency partners

Create, monitor, and manage brand-specific web content updates, social media posts

Source and manage multiple contributors from all disciplines – film, photography, writers and Giant Group internal team

COLLATERAL

Own and lead the creative design & content development of Sales workbooks, Gear catalog, infographics, Sales & Marketing internal communication, and retail marketing programs

Edit and proofread all creative content working with Sales, Product, and Marketing team members

Work with print and media vendors to ensure product and brand stories are highlighted and reviewed

RETAIL

Work with Retail Services team on Marketing initiatives/campaigns to connect better with in-store and online customers

Partner with Regional Sales Managers for geography-specific content to increase local market reach

Work directly on key product, sales and retail teams to coordinate, plan, track and report on key product and brand initiatives covering new product launches, seasonal campaigns, and in-store experiences

QUALIFICATIONS

B.S. Degree in Marketing or Communication preferred

3+ years of Creative Content and Digital Marketing Strategy experience

Creative content and design skills (In Design, Adobe Illustrator)

Demonstrated knowledge of Marketing strategies related to online and offline tools

Strong project management skills and experience working successfully with cross-functional teams 

Strong communication skills, especially outlining and writing short and long-form content 

Solid foundation in creative initiatives, marketing campaign strategy, content marketing, and performance measurement

Understanding Digital Media, Public Relations, and Advertising

Experience in or passion for cycling and/or sporting goods industry

10% - 15% Domestic travel

Subject to a background check

Exempt / full time position / salary range $63,000 to $65,000 based on background and experience

Based out of our corporate office in Newbury Park, CA. No remote work opportunities.
