Transition Outpost Inventory Specialist
The Outpost Inventory Specialist is responsible for building and maintaining the Outposts physical inventory. This includes forecasting and purchasing along with receiving, inventory management and all shipping and receiving functions. This person ensures that all of the pieces are in place to provide a successful experience to our customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Place orders with vendors
- Setup reorder points and monitor inventory levels
- Create part numbers and enter product information into computer system
- Build purchase orders
- Receive inventory into TR Inventory Management system
- Setup, pick, and receive transfers and between various TR USA Warehouses
- Communicate with customers about products arrival
- Perform regular periodic cycle counts
- Organize inventory back stock
- Work with Outpost team members on open Work Orders, Sales Orders and Warranties
- Place Fill Orders with Vendors
Qualified Applicants Will Possess:
- In depth knowledge of the bike industry, parts, and trends
- Strong understanding of inventory management and cycle counts
- Basic computer skills with MS Office and Google Suite
- Willingness and ability to learn new software programs
- Healthy physical condition with ability to lift 75lbs
- Motivated self-starter
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Must live in, or be willing to relocate to, Bellingham, WA.
- Good organizational skills and ability to keep a space clean and tidy
- Detail oriented
- Past Receiving/Purchasing experience is a plus
