Email Marketing Specialist - Bell + Giro

Bell + Giro is seeking a Email Marketing Specialist to join our growing eCommerce team. As a member of our team, you’ll report to our Digital Marketing Manager and will be responsible for managing our email marketing program to drive traffic to our online store and support the brands marketing efforts required to meet the company’s financial goals. Additionally, you will be the key contact for customer data and analysis as the manager of our customer relationship marketing (CRM) platform.

Essential functions:

   Manage the planning and execution of the brand’s email marketing calendar

   Build and execute email sends in collaboration with the design team

   Own the email creation process from start to finish: planning, build, QA, segmentation and reporting utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

   Self-sufficient in creating their own target audiences utilizing data extensions, creating automations and SQL queries.

   Experience with creating journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud such as Welcome Journeys, progressive profile and up sell journeys.

   Work directly with content and merchandizing colleagues to create go-to-market email strategies for new product launches

   Create regularly email channel reporting and share analysis with marketing team along with your optimization recommendations.

   Stay up to date on eCommerce industry trends and SFMC platforms updates

   Participate and contribute to the planning process for new projects.

   Drive and support efforts to grow the database with strict consideration of privacy


   Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

   2+ years of email/CRM marketing experience with B2C e-commerce channel

   Proven Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Studio, Journey Builder and Automation Studio experience

   Certified Marketing Cloud Specialist or desire to obtain certification during the first year of employment

   Analytical mind set, detail oriented, good with numbers and proven critical thinking skills

   Experience with Google Analytics or other web analytics tools

   Demonstrated project management skills

   Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

   Working knowledge of HTML and AMPscript

   Experience with GDPR and CCPA regulations a plus

   Experience in outdoor or sporting goods industry a plus

   Experience presenting information effectively (written and verbal)

   Comfortable working in a highly cross-functional matrix environment while adhering to tight schedules and budgets
