We are looking for an entrepreneurial, strategic, and operationally capable leader to scope, staff, and launch an innovative retail experience. This position will initially develop and launch “last mile” localized retail strategy for drop off and pick up of bikes in 10 major markets, coordinate a bike courier service, and design and implement other retail offerings. The successful candidate will have ample experience in E-Commerce and retail industries, and be able to balance strategic and creative thinking with tactical planning. The role has high external orientation and offers the opportunity for enterprise-level impact and exposure to different parts of the business through a variety of project experiences. The ideal candidate will have experience in strategy consulting, implementation, and have a demonstrated ability to influence at the most senior levels of an organization.


  • Partner with the CEO and other functional leads to identify, rationalize, and prioritize and launch TPC’s retail strategy
  • Prepare financial, operational, and go to market plans
  • Identify markets, locations, vendors, and staff initiative
  • Drive retail launch end-to-end and accelerate the growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to combine market research, user insights, and product vision to drive strategic decision making and craft the product offering
  • Oversee and lead the initiative, secure stakeholder (Marketing, Finance, Operations, Purchasing, Human Resources, and Product/Technology), and working team engagement, provide operational leadership and support as needed to deliver key business outcomes
  • Prepare “executive ready” project deliverables and manage alignment and communication with key stakeholders


  • MBA or related relevant business development experience
  • 5+ years experience in management consulting and 5+ years experience working in ecommerce, logistics and/or retail industries
  • Strong business acumen: ability to approach complex business problems in a structured way and drive rapidly towards insight
  • Outstanding research, analysis, and writing skills
  • Strong people leadership skills, and a bias to action, including a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Fast, flexible, and outcomes-oriented: able and excited to lead teams in an environment with rapid cycles of analysis, decision, and action
  • Experience leading cross functional teams in a high-growth environment
  • Experience with an online brand that has opened retail locations
  • Customer oriented, and committed to always delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Quantitative expertise
  • Strong opinions and a track record of success
  • Ability to clearly articulate resource trade-off decisions
  • Excellent communication, decision making and organizational skills
  • Entrepreneurial and comfortable operating closer to the ground with smaller teams
  • TPC requires employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 for in person work and company events as required by your role, unless you qualify for an exemption allowable under the law 


  • Salary Range: $150-185k, depending on experience
