Position Overview:

The Marketing Coordinator supports all aspects of the Giro brand marketing team in both bike and snow, globally. This position utilizes strong organizational skills to contribute to marketing campaigns, sports marketing, events, retail and digital marketing.

Essential functions:

   Entering product orders for athletes, media and events (SAP)

   Budgeting, collaborating with brand marketing team and finance team

   Coordinate content with external and internal photo and video sources

   Assist at events: packing, shipping, on-event-site support if applicable (some travel may be required)

   Work with Giro’s sales team to support retail needs

   Packing & Shipping Samples and other mailings as needed

   Sample coordination for meetings

   Warehouse maintenance & cataloging

   Assisting with meeting and Event prep (collecting, packing, shipping)

   General data entry

   Assisting as needed in preparation for photo shoots (on-site and off-site)

   Processing Purchase Order (PO) requests and Invoice payments    

   Support Brand Marketing and Digital Marketing Team

   Plus other miscellaneous tasks within the department

Education and Training:

   Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field

   At least two years of marketing experience – action sports industry experience preferred

   Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

   Proficient in SAP a plus

Skills and Abilities:

   Very detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment

   Strong organizational and budgeting skills

   Excellent written and verbal communication skills

   Willingness to travel

   Knowledge of action sports helpful with previous experience in the bike and snow industries helpful
